MyLav Industry defines a new working
method for veterinary orthopaedics and
surgical planning.
MYLAV INDUSTRY was established to offer innovative 3D printing services to veterinarians.
3D printing is an additive manufacturing technique that allows the creation of objects with the successive layering of different types of materials: mainly plastic, but also resin, titanium and various photopolymers include peek.
The most important subject of 3D printing application is medical science.

Our services
OPERATIVE PLANNING
Segmented CT bones scans can be printed in various materials, including
high-precision autoclavable and biocompatible resins.
Anatomically accurate models facilitate displaying deformities, the
planning of surgical interventions, and plate inserts pre-modelling.
GUIDED SURGERY & CUSTOM PLATES
MYLAV INDUSTRY realizes surgical guides in compliance with the
directions received from the veterinary surgeon, with measured angular
deformities, and the freedom to completely adjust the orientation of the
osteotomy segment via software.
This allows the surgeon to carefully plan the optimal correction, and in
case of necessity display and adjust the final result. Subsequent use of
the patient-specific surgical guides, facilitates the plan transfer to the
patient in the operating room with reduced possibility of error.
EXTERNAL PROSTHESES
Thanks to CT reconstruction of soft tissues or 3D scanning, supports can
be created for patients that have had to undergo amputation of their
front or hind limbs.
High design and modification flexibility, the creation of subsequent
exoprosthetics at low costs and spare parts always available, among
the advantages of 3D Technology.
We also realize different types of BRACES, with standard products for
cats, and custom-made options for dogs and other pets.
TRAINING
MYLAV INDUSTRY realizes standard and pathological bone models
for training and surgical planning purposes, for orthopaedic training
centres and university departments.
MYLAV arranges events, conferences and training courses in digital
orthopaedics, held by eminent experts in the veterinary orthopaedic
field.

MYLAV INDUSTRY deals with segmentation and 3D printed prototype creation following surgeon indications in planning the surgical intervention.

With three-dimensional modelling and 3D printers, it is possible to reproduce, specific anatomical parts of individual patients starting from CT images acquisition.
These models are created to replicate the exact anatomy of the subject, representing in detail thepart to be treated.
The surgeon can therefore have an anatomical model identical to the original anatomy.
